How much does it cost to have my event catered?
The price is based on the menu you select and the services you require. A room charge is accessed for use of an area in the event center. Each menu is charged on a "per person" basis. Check the Menus tab for examples of food and pricing. A bar set up charge may apply if you choose to have alcholic beverages available and a bartender for your event. A 18% service charge is added for full service, which includes preparation, set up, meal service, and clean up. The city and state sales tax is 7.875% of the total, outside of the city of Duluth is 6.875%. A set up / delivery charge will apply. Prices are subject to market changes.
Will you travel to my location?
Red Swan Catering has traveled to various locations in the five state regions, however, the majority of our business is conducted in the Duluth area and the surrounding communities. A set up and delivery charge will apply. A mileage charge may apply if you are outside of the Duluth area. Travel pay may apply for any service staff that you need for your event. We do both indoor and outdoor functions including office parties and corporate training, wedding receptions and anniversaries, birthday parties, retirements, and reunions.
What size group can you cater to?
We cater to groups from 2 to 2,000.
What about linens, dishes and table decorations?
Linens and napkins, dinnerware, glassware and flatware are included in your room charge for your event at the Clearwater Event Center. Red Swan Catering can furnish you with all or part of your tableware needs for off premise catering events. A variety of both China and disposable dinner ware are available for you to select from. They range in price from $.95 to $3.95 depending on your menu and particular service needs. Your menu selections and service option most often will dictate the number of dinnerware items you will need. This should be discussed in detail during you consultation.
